With “Healthier Vending” now firmly on the agenda – the Consumer is seeking new and different products to add to their “snacking dayparts” – which generally consists of 3 dayparts – Breakfast/Lunch/Afternoon snack.
What do these ‘day parts’ mean?
- Breakfast snacking usually gives the consumer a portable boost of energy in the morning.
- Lunch is usually to accompany a sandwich/main meal
- Whilst the afternoon snack is usually an “energy kick” to see people through until they get home in the evenings
With more and more consumers – time poor and cash rich – there is no better time than now to make this switch to offer an awesome range of products to “fill the day”
The “Health Halo” effect gives consumers the perception that certain products (whilst not always 100% healthy) are good for you – organic/natural to name a couple of words often used.
What we have done at RSL is to actually re-invent this concept and deliver variation, new, healthy and core products that we know to sell and satisfy.
We have spent the last 12 months trialling, sampling and tasting the products whilst analysing sales data through our dynamic reporting software.
Vend pricing has also been analysed, compared and trialled to give the best value for money offer through the convenience of a Vending machine.
Keeping a consistent, planogram across B&I and public sites enable us to drive efficiencies whilst keeping stocks fresh and manageable.
