Refreshment Systems Ltd is celebrating a standout year after being named finalists across nine prestigious regional and national award categories, recognising the company’s achievements in innovation, retail technology, customer service, and operational excellence.
The Bradford-based family business has received recognition across three major award programmes:
Telegraph & Argus Bradford Business Awards
- Innovation Award
The Vendies Awards
- Best Operator (Large)
- Best Family Business
- Best Machine Innovation
- Customer Service Award
- Vending Collaboration of the Year
- Best Vending Project
- Woman Operative of the Year
Retail Systems Awards
- Most Disruptive Retail Technology
The recognition follows a year of continued growth and investment for the business, including the development and rollout of VendSmart Software, RSL’s in-house intelligent retail platform designed to transform traditional vending into a smarter, data-driven retail experience.
The technology supports intelligent vending, telemetry, digital advertising integration, frictionless retail, and real-time machine management, helping customers enhance workplace and public refreshment services while unlocking new revenue opportunities.
The company’s nomination in the Retail Systems Awards’ Most Disruptive Retail Technology category highlights the impact of VendSmart Software and its growing role in modernising unattended retail environments across the UK.
RSL’s success at The Vendies Awards also recognises the strength of its operational teams and customer partnerships, alongside individual achievements such as Danielle Powell being shortlisted for Woman Operative of the Year.
Award winners will be announced later this year.
