What to think about before you order

The problem this solves is a specific one: a canteen that closes at two o’clock and a night shift that starts at ten. Vending sandwiches at people for eight hours is not a serious answer, and neither is a microwave next to a fridge nobody cleans.

The machine holds frozen meals below minus eighteen and heats the selected one on demand, so nothing sits warm, nothing is date-critical on the day, and waste is close to nil. Meals run to around forty lines including vegetarian, vegan and halal.
